In Alaska's Matanuska - Susitna Valley we have an abundance of black bears. I usually take a black bear every Spring, it serves as my "taco meat" for the year. This year , I tried Harmon's Bear Lure Scents (Bear urine and Ice Cream Scent.) After three days of using the scents, the bears arrived... not just one or two..... but at least a half dozen large boars circled my hunting area. These large boars were just out of the den and the coats were spectacular. They could not get enough of the urine, which I sprayed on trees and stumps. They pushed the trees over, and destroyed the stumps. In order to test your product , I used anise scent on another area for comparison & hands down, Harmon scents won. Wow, I am sold on the scents!

Mr. Harmon,

I met you either in September or October, 2009 in Ruston, LA. You assisted me with a Crossbow that I purchased that day. As I was leaving, you insisted that I purchase two bottles of your Triple Heat Deer Scent. I left it on the shelf until this afternoon, and as I was leaving to go to my deer stand, I sprayed my rubber boots with the scent, and also sprayed a rag with the scent and placed it in a low lying limb where I felt comfortable shooting.

Within 30 minutes of sitting in my stand, I hit my grunt call a couple of times and heard a deer coming through the woods. It came directly to the scented rag within 50 yards of my stand and I made the shot and successfully harvested an 11 point, 16 1/2 inside spread, 215 pound buck.

I truly believe the spray was the reason I was able to harvest my deer. Thank you for insisting I purchase your product. FYI, I did shoot a doe with my new crossbow you helped me with. Thanks for the coaching.

Dear Bill,

I have some land in Suwanee Ga. I've hunted all year, hundreds of hours, haven't seen any big bucks. On 11-30-09, I got to my stand late that afternoon, wasn't feeling it, hunting with no visual of a big deer all year long. I still sprayed my boots with Rutting Doe and a few branches and leaves on the way. I wasn't there 15 min. to my left I saw a body, no head, behind a tree. Leaves and dirt started to fly. He was fix-in up his paw place. My heart was about to come out of my chest. Please come my way. I sprayed "Rutting Doe" in the air and here he comes, not a small one, but a monster. He walk down the road towards me, nose in the air, horns just a gleaming, 30 yard shoot. Goes to show u, perseverance and "Rutting Doe" pays off...

Tim Schultz here from out of Bismarck, IL. I just thought I would drop you a email again to say I got another nice Deer using your scents again.. This time it was your Cedar cover scent.. I used it every day I hunted and had Bucks come in downwind of me all the time because I was useing a rattling/grunt call setup,.. I passed on some very nice deer(150"class on up)and even had a 140"+ deer within 15 yrd of me for about 5 minutes late one evening.. This is the best cover scent I have ever used and I'm hoping to get some more for next year as I am  done in Indiana where I killed this buck.. .. He is a typical 11 pointer with 12 stickers and has over 36 points, butonly 23 are scorable.. He grossed 185 5/8" .. my best buck by far and I owe it to your cover scent.. I snuck up on him on the ground and grunted him to me and shot him at 40yrds

Bill,

Had a great experience at Deer Camp in Texas last week. Saw probably 15 Bucks and watched as they interacted with many does. However on Wednesday November 18th. I was in the stand and had been masking my presence with Harmon Triple Deer Scent not only for deer but to cover my scent for hogs and a possible coyote or bobcat. I had already shot a nice 8 point buck and filled my tag on the lease on Tuesday for bucks. Then as I sat in the tower, a nice 6 point buck came from my left to right about 30 yards in front of the stand. His neck was stretched out and his tail was up and he was on a mission. He went in front of the stand then circled back around the stand from the right and went around the deer stand (tower at the base) snorting and carrying on for three laps before he left frustrated as he could not find the doe that was producing the scent field. Moral of the story, I got a large amount of satisfaction knowing that it was the Harmon Scent that attracted him and to that extent of interest. Just wanted to share this story with you.

After seeing Harmons Deer Scent advertised on Down South hunting .com and heard all of the great things about it, i went and ordered some. I went Hunting the next day in the morning. As i was going to my stand i sprayed some Triple heat into the air around 6 am. I gave it about 3 pumps and thats it. 30 mins later this buck came in snorting and wheezin with his nose down. He was headed right towards where i had sprayed, I shot him @ 40 yds.. 8 pointer.

Mr. Harmon, I live in south Mississippi and have had deer scent problems over and over again. I used several of your scents; One on the ground and one in the tree above my head. You have got to be the master of all scents. I started using your scents after Chuck at Bluff Creek Outfitters told me how good they were, and he was right. I just wanted to thank you for such a great product. I used triple heat during the Ontario rut and harvested a nice 8 point buck on November 7th/2009 at 3:30pm only 20 minutes after I hung my scent wick. Just wanted to write a short Thank You Note to Mr. Bill Harmon: I had ordered some Harmon Moose Scent from the Internet from another company other than directly from the Harmon web site., it turns out the People were running a Scam, I e-mailed Harmon Deer Scents directly to see if they would over- nite some Scent to me, and explained what happened to me! At 10.00 pm my phone rang and Mr. Harmon himself was on the phone and was very upset with what had happened with the other Company. My Wife talked with him and he told her he would call me in the morning, which he did, He told me where I could Pick up some of the Harmon Scent I wanted, FREE OF CHARGE!! This is Austin Henderson. He is 14 years old and has killer instincts like his dad. He is a sure shot and nothing gets away from him. This is around his 35th deer. He and his dad were using Swamp Dirt. Austin, YOU ARE THE MAN. Neither he nor his dad were busted by their scent. Using Swamp Dirt did the trick. My name is Dusty Smith. I have been hunting for about 23 years and have done pretty good at filling the freezer up with plenty of meat. The only problem was that at the age of 30 I had never taken a buck. Well on Jan 18, 2009 my luck changed. I stopped at a local sporting goods store to pick up some type of doe-in-heat lure. Your 100% tarsal gland works, just don't spray it on your clothes. I almost got attacked this morning. Just before daylight while walking to my stand. Like a fool I sprayed it all over my hunting clothes (phew) and while trying to get to my stand here comes this big buck out of nowhere with a bad attitude. I wish I had some pictures but I had no camera and to make matters worse he scared me so bad I dropped my rifle while running to my stand. I wont ever make the mistake of spraying myself again that was too close. Thanks.

I've hunted for several years and have used drag rags, scent hangers and fake scrapes. After meeting Bill Harmon at Hicks June 2008 Show, he gave me a bottle of Triple Heat. Thought I would try it out so, walking about a mile the last half of it with a Dragg Ragg sprayed with Triple Heat I climbed up a tree over good sign. About an hour later the show began, bucks chasing off small bucks, big bucks fighting and chasing does looking for the one in heat. Late Saturday evening the small buck came with in 45-70 range. Down he went! The next morning, knowing where the big man was, I went back freshened up the drag line and completed the weekend hunt early. Two big bucks, what a weekend. I know it won't be like this everytime but, I do not believe it would have been like this with out the Dragg Ragg and Triple Heat.

I used the Harmon deer scent and could not believe the results, I had a 4 point and spike horn come in to the scent. They came right up to the scent and started smelling it and also made some scrapes. Dear Harmon,

I would just like to say thanks for a great product! My wife and I are hard core bow hunters. We hunt with bow only, and are avid scent users. Over the 33 years that we've been hunting together, we've tried just about every deer estrus scent ever made other than the cheap stuff magic blends etc. which we are smart enough to know that deer know the difference between the real deal and something that claims to smell like it.

We searched and tried numerous scents with no good results. While hunting during the pre rut last year, we found ourselves in the field with no scent to use. We went to a store for lunch one day, and noticed a display with some hunting stuff, and a couple of bottles of Harmon doe estrus scent. We figured we'd give it a try. We had never seen the stuff before so we didn't know what to expect. The labeling saying that it was 100% pure and undiluted was encouraging, but we'd seen that before and were optimistic.

That evening's hunt didn't produce any bucks, but the next day we went out and I put the Harmon estrus scent out, 2 small bucks came out to it early, but about an hour later, a huge 8 pt. caught wind of it and circled to find where the scent was coming from. He ended up right in front of my stand less than 15 yards away, but brush in the way prevented a shot at him. I had to let it go without it locating me, so I didn't attempt to try moving around for a shot that would have tipped it off to my location. Off he went looking for the hot doe. I figured that was it for my morning, but sat there hoping he'd circle back. About 30 minutes later, an even bigger buck came in looking for the hot doe. He came right to my scent tag and gave me a 15 yard shot. I shot just under his belly and he jumped back about 15 yards and stood there, still looking toward the scent tag. I was able to nock another arrow and nailed him on a 30 yard broadside shot. A beautiful 10 point buck.

Needless to say, we were sold on the Harmon scent and were looking for it this year, but we didn't remember the name of your company, just that it came in a 2 ounce brown bottle with a bright orange label. We went back to the place that we found it last year and all they had was one bottle of your 3+ yr. dominant buck urine which I'm sure was left from last year (it was a grocery store). Good thing it was still there because we got the name of your company and web address from the bottle. I ordered some doe estrus scent via your website and we're looking forward to using it as soon as it arrives because I saw that same buck that I couldn't get a shot at last year a few day's ago!!! He's a brute, and I need the real deal ASAP. They'll be in full rut next week.

I sure hope you guy's get this stuff out to the major sporting goods and hunting supply stores soon. It would be nice to be able to get it locally just in case of an emergency, like if we run out during the rut! Thanks for producing a great product. Please don't follow in the foot steps of the greedy corporate producers who are willing to sacrifice the quality of the scent to produce more and sell for less. I'd rather pay $30 for an ounce of the real thing than $15 for 4 ounces of some magic doe in estrus potion! Please keep up the great work and raise the price if you need to. Don't think like the others that more is better if we can produce it. They're realizing the losses now, and their reputation is tarnished permanently. At least with us it is. Hunters like us will be happy to pay more for the real deal if necessary! Keep the quality and you'll keep the hunters who know the difference coming back. Thanks again for your great products.

I finally had the chance to try your "sow in heat" scent in the south of Chile.

I sprayed it from the woods along a clear field for about 50 mts and ended about 3 mts away from where I was awaiting.

A young hog of 140 kg came straight to me and stopped when he felt my presence.

I shot it while running away.

Just wanted to drop you a quick note to tell you how satisfied I am with your products.

This is my third year using your products. I use the interdigital, doe pee, triple heat and buck scrape products and I am very happy with their performance.

I especially like the interdigital. This has such a calming effect on deer they come downwind or use the same trail I walk in on. I spray it on my boots as well as doe pee every 50 yards. Then once in my stand I spray it on leaves, tree bark and limbs around me.

I have been very successful since using your products. In fact this year I have already harvested 7 deer with my bow using your products including the enclosed picture of a buck I shot, the biggest in the 5 years I've bow hunted. He came down a trail I scented with your doe pee and interdigital, smelling the whole way to 17 yards where I took him.

Mr. Harmon,

I wanted to drop you a line and tell you about my experience with your product line. I went on a hunt in Salem, Alabama last year with an outfitter which was probably one of the worst hunts I have been on with an outfitter. When I got there I was told that the deer were not pushing does at all and there were no scrapes or rubs much to be found. This was the second week of January 2007 just to give you a time frame. I took my dad, father-in-law, step father-in-law, and brother-in-law on the hunt it was my Christmas gift to them because I was in Iraq for Christmas and all of the Tennessee deer season pretty much. Well as I did some scouting on my own I found scrapes all over the place rubs all over the place and the first evening in the stand I saw 4 does and one buck. When I came into my stand which was about a 3/4 mile walk I put Triple Heat on a drag home made by the way with a scent wick that came with it and put a wick up about every 100 to 200 yards along the road that lead back to my stand. Also on this road there were 2 very large scrapes one was very fresh with a good rub right on it so I also gave a couple squirts to them also. When the buck I saw came in it was to dark to get a shot as the outfitter was archery only but I could hear him grunting from about 100 yards out and also when he got to me I could hear licking and smacking his lips the buck came right down the scent trail I had laid right down the road. It was absolutely awesome I knew then that Harmon scent was the stuff. When I told the guide he actually told me that it probably was not the scent that the deer was just moving to the food plot I was on but I know better I heard and saw what was going on. Three days later I had what I think was the same buck do the same thing only this time I was using Triple Heat and Rutting doe Together on 2 drags and alternating the hangers unfortunately I failed to connect I missed a quartering away shot on him he probably would have scored in the high 130s. I was the only one who saw deer everyday and the only bucks seen where by me as a matter of fact my dad only saw 3 deer and no one else saw anything I also was the only one using Harmon scent. I swear by it to everyone I know. I actually drive about 100 miles one way to buy it and I will continue do that until someone closer carries the product. Thanks again Mr.Harmon for such a great product.

I visit in couple of local hunting stores and present your hopes them to carry The Harmon brand. Unfortunately they allready have someones else brand to carry. But in my hunting area hunters (my best friends, not all, of course)allready know the power of Harmon, so you have a very good reason to wait some extra orders from Finland...

Three years ago I had planed to do some hunting in an area that I was somewhat unfamiliar with and decided to stop and get some deer urine lure for the hunt. After looking at all the selections of available deer lures it did not take me long to make my choice when I saw the Harmon's brand name, since the area where I was going to hunt was called Harmon Den (just off I-40; 3 miles inside the NC line). The specific area I had intended to hunt I had located a week earlier and had discovered a fairly good scrape. When I arrived at my destination I saturated a drag rag with Harmon's Dominant Buck and proceeded toward my stand which was a high bank overlooking the scrape. I had not gone far and before I had reached my intended spot, I was welcomed with a screeching, wheezing grunt, which I honestly thought was one of the elk which had wondered to the area from nearby Cataloochee. I however was met by a laurel ripping, ears laid back, ready to fight mad large whitetail buck which rushed toward me with in 10 yards. We were both startled with the quick encounter and sad to say I was more startled than the deer, since the last I seen of the buck was his departure in the route in which he came.

The next week I returned to the same area at Harmon Den and took up a stand sitting on a stool in the middle of a logging road overlooking a deep open hollow, bordered by a laurel thicket on each ridge. My plan was to use the Dominant Buck lure in conjunction with a Hunter's Specialties True Talker grunt call in an attempt to lure a buck into the opening of the hollow. My technique was to blow the grunt ever five minutes followed by 4 squirts of the Dominant Buck lure. There was a sporadic breeze which was blowing from me out the logging road somewhat toward one of the laurel covered ridges and my faith was not too good that I would see anything from that direction. When the breeze was in time with my grunt call I would hold the bottle high seeing the lure dissipate several yards out the logging road. After one hour of this technique I decided to move on out the logging road to another area. After I stood and put my stool around my waste and took one step I was startled to see, then hear, a large whitetail walking in the logging road directly toward me. I watched it walk un alarmed, but winding the air for about 50 yard until it was within 20 yards of me. This time I was able to compose myself and bagged a healthy 8 pointer.

Last year I hunted in Va. And this time used Triple Heat lure. I was unfamiliar with the area since it was my first time I hunted there. My friend Paul Iarussi dropped me off at a ground stand and went on to his stand. After getting settled down I gave four sprays of the Triple Heat and within five minutes had a spike walk directly to me. The next morning My friend Paul also using the Triple Heat lure bagged a 9 pointer within five minutes after I had left him. I proceeded to the exact same location that I had hunted the previous morning . After spraying the Triple Heat lure within the hour I had a four pointer walk directly to me within 20 yards, grunting every step. There were two additional occasions where the deer in the area did the same.

My last hunt last year was back in NC in the Standing Indian area of Macon Co. It was the last day of the season and I was going to hunt with my friends who had camped there the previous week. When I arrived a plan was quickly developed to hunt an area where my friend Louis Young had a large buck walk directly to him after using Dominant Buck lure. After splitting up I walked up a hollow toward a ridge where I had intended to sit on the crest watching the other side of the ridge. Since the wind was blowing up the hollow I decided to use the Dominant Buck lure spraying only one spray every 15 minutes as I made my way slowly up the hollow. Just as I got within 10 yards of where the hollow intersected the crest of the ridge I heard a deer grunting on another higher ridge across from me. I immediately sat down and sprayed four squirts of the Dominant Buck lure. I saw the buck which was on the next ridge , it had its nose in the air. The buck immediately walked toward me descended out of sight in the hollow between the ridges and proceeded to walk directly toward me. The next sighting I had was when the buck antlers appeared over a fallen tree laying within 10 yards of me. The buck stopped, hesitated, lowered its head then slowly walked directly toward me. When he raised his head the next time he was looking directly at me offering me a perfect shot.

Bill I am a firm believer that even though Harmon's Deer Lure does not remedy bad aim and anxious shots or hunter blunders it definitely improves the opportunities of seeing deer specifically large deer.

200+ Point Deer, 2006

"Hello, I bought your new triple heat deer scent about a week ago.. I put it on a scent pad over a scrape and put a little in the scrape. anyway I have had my digital camera up for about 3 weeks and have a few good bucks coming in without any scent.. we had rain for 3 days and the last day of rain is when I put your scent out... when I got my camera and brought it home I have a picture of a possible state record deer coming into your scent.... it was the next morning at 1:38 in the morning... It was about 6 hours after I put out your scent... I'm guessing the deer will score in the low 200" range as a typical 12 pointer... looks to have about a 30" outside spread and 12-14" g 2's and g 3's...
