Testimonials Don't just take our word for it!
Dear Harmon Scents, Just wanted to drop you a quick note to tell you how satisfied I am with your products. This is my third year using your products. I use the interdigital, doe pee, triple heat and buck scrape products and I am very happy with their performance. I especially like the interdigital. This has such a calming effect on deer they come downwind or use the same trail I walk in on. I spray it on my boots as well as doe pee every 50 yards. Then once in my stand I spray it on leaves, tree bark and limbs around me. I have been very successful since using your products. In fact this year I have already harvested 7 deer with my bow using your products including the enclosed picture of a buck I shot, the biggest in the 5 years I've bow hunted. He came down a trail I scented with your doe pee and interdigital, smelling the whole way to 17 yards where I took him. Thanks again for such great products, you have a lifetime customer in me. Cordially,
Hello Bill Mr. Harmon, I wanted to drop you a line and tell you about my experience with your product line. I went on a hunt in Salem, Alabama last year with an outfitter which was probably one of the worst hunts I have been on with an outfitter. When I got there I was told that the deer were not pushing does at all and there were no scrapes or rubs much to be found. This was the second week of January 2007 just to give you a time frame. I took my dad, father-in-law, step father-in-law, and brother-in-law on the hunt it was my Christmas gift to them because I was in Iraq for Christmas and all of the Tennessee deer season pretty much. Well as I did some scouting on my own I found scrapes all over the place rubs all over the place and the first evening in the stand I saw 4 does and one buck. When I came into my stand which was about a 3/4 mile walk I put Triple Heat on a drag home made by the way with a scent wick that came with it and put a wick up about every 100 to 200 yards along the road that lead back to my stand. Also on this road there were 2 very large scrapes one was very fresh with a good rub right on it so I also gave a couple squirts to them also. When the buck I saw came in it was to dark to get a shot as the outfitter was archery only but I could hear him grunting from about 100 yards out and also when he got to me I could hear licking and smacking his lips the buck came right down the scent trail I had laid right down the road. It was absolutely awesome I knew then that Harmon scent was the stuff. When I told the guide he actually told me that it probably was not the scent that the deer was just moving to the food plot I was on but I know better I heard and saw what was going on. Three days later I had what I think was the same buck do the same thing only this time I was using Triple Heat and Rutting doe Together on 2 drags and alternating the hangers unfortunately I failed to connect I missed a quartering away shot on him he probably would have scored in the high 130s. I was the only one who saw deer everyday and the only bucks seen where by me as a matter of fact my dad only saw 3 deer and no one else saw anything I also was the only one using Harmon scent. I swear by it to everyone I know. I actually drive about 100 miles one way to buy it and I will continue do that until someone closer carries the product. Thanks again Mr.Harmon for such a great product. N. Langley Hi Bill, I visit in couple of local hunting stores and present your hopes them to carry The Harmon brand. Unfortunately they allready have someones else brand to carry. But in my hunting area hunters (my best friends, not all, of course)allready know the power of Harmon, so you have a very good reason to wait some extra orders from Finland... By the way, my friends first didn`t believed at all those deer scents, but when it starts "to rain" big bucks to me they have chansed their attitude! My english is quite bad, but I hope you find the point. Finland, Europe
Bill, This deer came into some estrous scent you had sent these boys. I nailed him at 18 yards. He went 20 yards and dropped in plain sight. Thanks for the scent! Gerald Dodd Three years ago I had planed to do some hunting in an area that I was somewhat unfamiliar with and decided to stop and get some deer urine lure for the hunt. After looking at all the selections of available deer lures it did not take me long to make my choice when I saw the Harmon's brand name, since the area where I was going to hunt was called Harmon Den (just off I-40; 3 miles inside the NC line). The specific area I had intended to hunt I had located a week earlier and had discovered a fairly good scrape. When I arrived at my destination I saturated a drag rag with Harmon's Dominant Buck and proceeded toward my stand which was a high bank overlooking the scrape. I had not gone far and before I had reached my intended spot, I was welcomed with a screeching, wheezing grunt, which I honestly thought was one of the elk which had wondered to the area from nearby Cataloochee. I however was met by a laurel ripping, ears laid back, ready to fight mad large whitetail buck which rushed toward me with in 10 yards. We were both startled with the quick encounter and sad to say I was more startled than the deer, since the last I seen of the buck was his departure in the route in which he came. The next week I returned to the same area at Harmon Den and took up a stand sitting on a stool in the middle of a logging road overlooking a deep open hollow, bordered by a laurel thicket on each ridge. My plan was to use the Dominant Buck lure in conjunction with a Hunter's Specialties True Talker grunt call in an attempt to lure a buck into the opening of the hollow. My technique was to blow the grunt ever five minutes followed by 4 squirts of the Dominant Buck lure. There was a sporadic breeze which was blowing from me out the logging road somewhat toward one of the laurel covered ridges and my faith was not too good that I would see anything from that direction. When the breeze was in time with my grunt call I would hold the bottle high seeing the lure dissipate several yards out the logging road. After one hour of this technique I decided to move on out the logging road to another area. After I stood and put my stool around my waste and took one step I was startled to see, then hear, a large whitetail walking in the logging road directly toward me. I watched it walk un alarmed, but winding the air for about 50 yard until it was within 20 yards of me. This time I was able to compose myself and bagged a healthy 8 pointer. Last year I hunted in Va. And this time used Triple Heat lure. I was unfamiliar with the area since it was my first time I hunted there. My friend Paul Iarussi dropped me off at a ground stand and went on to his stand. After getting settled down I gave four sprays of the Triple Heat and within five minutes had a spike walk directly to me. The next morning My friend Paul also using the Triple Heat lure bagged a 9 pointer within five minutes after I had left him. I proceeded to the exact same location that I had hunted the previous morning . After spraying the Triple Heat lure within the hour I had a four pointer walk directly to me within 20 yards, grunting every step. There were two additional occasions where the deer in the area did the same. My last hunt last year was back in NC in the Standing Indian area of Macon Co. It was the last day of the season and I was going to hunt with my friends who had camped there the previous week. When I arrived a plan was quickly developed to hunt an area where my friend Louis Young had a large buck walk directly to him after using Dominant Buck lure. After splitting up I walked up a hollow toward a ridge where I had intended to sit on the crest watching the other side of the ridge. Since the wind was blowing up the hollow I decided to use the Dominant Buck lure spraying only one spray every 15 minutes as I made my way slowly up the hollow. Just as I got within 10 yards of where the hollow intersected the crest of the ridge I heard a deer grunting on another higher ridge across from me. I immediately sat down and sprayed four squirts of the Dominant Buck lure. I saw the buck which was on the next ridge , it had its nose in the air. The buck immediately walked toward me descended out of sight in the hollow between the ridges and proceeded to walk directly toward me. The next sighting I had was when the buck antlers appeared over a fallen tree laying within 10 yards of me. The buck stopped, hesitated, lowered its head then slowly walked directly toward me. When he raised his head the next time he was looking directly at me offering me a perfect shot. Bill I am a firm believer that even though Harmon's Deer Lure does not remedy bad aim and anxious shots or hunter blunders it definitely improves the opportunities of seeing deer specifically large deer.
Thanks,
200+ Point Deer, 2006 "Hello, I bought your new triple heat deer scent about a
week ago.. I put it on a scent pad over a scrape and put a
little in the scrape. anyway I have had my digital camera up
for about 3 weeks and have a few good bucks coming in
without any scent.. we had rain for 3 days and the last day
of rain is when I put your scent out... when I got my camera
and brought it home I have a picture of a possible state
record deer coming into your scent.... it was the next
morning at 1:38 in the morning... It was about 6 hours after
I put out your scent... I'm guessing the deer will score in
the low 200" range as a typical 12 pointer... looks to have
about a 30" outside spread and 12-14" g 2's and g 3's... I
have talked to a guy that hunts for a living and he told me
to contact North American Whitetail and they might be
interested in the story.. I guess my question to you is are
you interested in the pictures for your scents and
advertisement???? I'm not going to release the pictures to
just anyone so I thought I would contact you ...let me
know... if you need to talk to me you can call me on my
cell.. thanks"
"Bill, I got this buck using the dominant buck you sent.
He dressed around 190 lbs and will score in the low 130's..
The big 200"+ deer was killed on the 5th of November. He is
going to gross around 206" typical!! Thanks for such a good
product and I love the drag rag!! It brought in some nice
deer that I passed before I knew the big one was killed!!!
Can't wait till next season as now I have killed 2 bucks and
I'm tagged out on bucks!! I will keep using your scent for
my dad and for more pics on the camera... Thanks a lot." "I shot 2 ea bucks from the same stand 6 days apart using 2 different
kinds of Harmon lures, what cha think about that??? I just may carry your
lure to the woods in Chattahoochee co. Georgia next year too!!!!"
"We met at one of the Buckarama shows when you first introduced your product
and I tried to sing its praises wherever I went and was asked about what or how
to bring deer to the area you are in. Harmon's Buck Scrape has always been my answer." "It works great, and putting it in a spray bottle was a good idea too." "I harvested a whitetail buck with a bow that officially scored 147 7/8 with BTR
scoring and a green score of 166 7/8 Pope & Young. Your dominant buck scent has been
very instrumental in my hunting success this deer season." "Recently I was using your Doe in Heat lure and your deer grunt, and within minutes
a seven-point buck walked right in front of me with his nose in the air sniffing the
scent of the Doe in Heat and was trying to find where the grunt of the deer was
coming from. I look forward to using more of your hunting products in the future." "I have been deer hunting since I was 12 years of age with my grandfather and brother.
We all have used different brands of buck lure in the past, but I wanted to let you know
that this season we tried your brand of buck lure just a couple of weeks before the end
of this deer season. We were surprised how well your brand works. We plan to use it next
season altogether." My name is Floyd Johnson.
I have been hunting over 40 years and have tried every lure on the market just about for
whitetail deer and your Big Buck Scrape powder or granules which ever is the best by far.
I was told to allow at least 8 to 10 days for it to work but being impatient as I am I
hunted over It the next day, in which I harvested a nice 8-point buck. The product was
still working over 60 days later. The stuff is great and I recommend it over anything else. "Last season I purchased a bottle of your doe pee which I used as a cover
scent. The same day I purchased the scent I used it that same evening on my
hunt. Needless to say it fooled five does which lead a 167-pound 7-pointer
right to me. I had used several different brands in the past, but yours will
be the only one I'll be taking to the woods this up and coming season. I'm
looking forward to trying out some of your other scents this season."
To whom it may concern;
WOW!!! I tried Harmon's scents for the first time and harvested my first P&Y buck because of the help that Harmon's gave me. I learned about Harmon's scents on the Women Hunters website as I am Pro Staff for Women Hunters. Then I stopped at the nearest hunting store on my way to my latest hunt, and they convinced me to try Harmon's. I can't believe the success one attempt gave me. I have an interesting story on the number of bucks that came into my stand (15-20) . I would love to send you a photo of my green score 134 8pt buck that I harvested with Harmon's. Thanks,
Hey, Customer,
Mr. Harmon, Eldon Haralson I bought your Rutting Doe for the first time. I have always used Tinks. I had never herd of Harmon's. I had found a scrap line and hunted it, not seeing the buck just does. That afternoon, I went down the scrap line spraying about 80 yards up and down my stand. The next morning I allowed my oldest son (16) to go to the stand. At 7:30 AM he shot a 190-pound 6-point. This was his first rack deer. It was better than me shooting the deer. The deer had come in that night or early morning and tore the place up. I am impressed with what I saw. I am telling all my hunting friends about this scent. Thanks,
Harmon's booth at Henry's Show. Been hunting hogs for quite a while with limited success until... I got my first 287 lb. boar with your "Hog in Heat" scent the very first time I used it. It works. Your delivery time was excellent; I will remain a loyal customer. I told everyone your delivery time was excellent. Thanks for the bumper stickers. Roger Harms Thank you for helping me accomplish a lifetime dream. Your grunt call really works. If I can help you in the future with promoting your calls, please let me know. If you have a photo gallery of viewers, please include my picture. I'm sure not a writer, but here is what happened to me this season. Feel free to use the picture or the story however you like. Thanks,
13 point, 22 inch wide, 175 lbs. God Smiled On Me Today by Larry Porter It was a hot November day in West Tennessee, not a day that you would think much about deer hunting. The mosquitoes were out and it was about 80 degrees on a bright sunny day. But I had two hours before my 13 year old daughter's basketball game, and I was itching to go deer hunting. Most people hunt for food here and with all the hunting pressure a deer rarely lives past his second birthday. Finding a Boone & Crockett trophy deer in Weakley County is like finding a needle in a haystack. As I waited for my daughter to get home so we could shoot some free throws before the big game tonight, I couldn't help but think about deer hunting. My daughter arrived home after what she called a hard day and said she just wanted to rest this afternoon and for me to go on and go deer hunting. I had joined a deer hunting club this year with some of my buddies and this would be my first time to hunt this new property. I went by and picked up my son's muzzleloader and got my mosquito spray and off I went as it was only ten minutes from the house. I thought this could be as much of a scouting trip as a hunting trip since I knew nothing about the farm I was about to hunt. I am a handicapped hunter, and if it wasn't for my trusty Honda 4-wheeler getting me to and from the field I would have had to give up hunting twenty five years ago when I had a massive stroke. I was very blessed that over time I have regained almost everything except the use of my legs, and I can get around with the use of a cane. But through the help of my family and friends and the grace of God I haven't missed a beat in my love for hunting and fishing. As I got to the field, I grabbed my muzzleloader, my fanny pack, my doe in estrous scent, and my Harmon Grunt Call. It was 4:00 PM, and I had an hour and a half to hunt. I always carry a drag rag doused with doe in rut scent behind my 4-wheeler to help cover my scent and also to attract bucks. From the road, I could see a nice big tree stand of one of my friends that I thought might be a good spot as it was overlooking a bean field in the river bottom. I rode my 4-wheeler dragging my drag rag along the edge of the bean field and parked in the bushes behind the deer stand. I tried my best to get up in the stand but it just wasn't going to happen as I almost fell out trying to get situated. So I climbed down and fixed me a comfortable spot under the deer stand and leaned my muzzleloader against the first step of the ladder. As I peered through the ladder I could see the cars and trucks going by quite often down the highway. The thought ran through my mind that I'm just wasting my time but I told myself let's just enjoy being out in the woods and sit here until dark. I've always thought the best way to deer hunt was just to be quiet and sit still and let the deer come to you. An hour went by and all I'd seen were two squirrels. With no deer activity, I decided it couldn't hurt anything to try my old grunt call. I could still smell the scent of doe in estrous scent on my fingertips from earlier while putting it on my drag rag. I'm not a professional grunter by any means, but I grunted a few short grunts. What happened next left me in disbelief as in my 40 years of hunting I've never seen anything like it. This monster buck bolted from a thicket looking for a fight or at least to protect his territory, and he was heading right at me across the open bean field in full view. It happened so quick that when the buck stopped he was at 75 yards, but I hadn't even had time to even get my gun ready. I have a scope on my muzzleloader but it didn't take any kind of optics to tell this boy was a shooter. I managed to get my gun up and get my sights on him but he started walking again looking for the other buck. His hair was all bristled and his ears laid back as though he was ready to fight. When he stopped at 60 yards, I pulled the trigger and I couldn't see a thing for a couple seconds. When the smoke cleared all I could see was antlers, big antlers like I've never seen before. I waited 10 minutes to be sure he wasn't going to run off and that was the longest 10 minutes of my life. At 5:10, I got on my-4 wheeler and rode up to him. He had 13 points and some of the longest points that I've ever seen. He had mule deer forks on both sides and drop tines on both sides. The deer had a 22 inch spread and weighed 175 pounds. It was the nicest deer that I've ever seen in my lifetime. I've never been a big believer in using a grunt call, but, after this hunt, I will never be caught without it ever again. There's no doubt the combination of my deer scent and a grunt call did the trick on this old buck. Looking back on my deer hunt now a week later, I almost didn't even go deer hunting on that lucky day. Had my daughter wanted to shoot basketball then I would never have gone deer hunting. Also I had those thoughts of "it's just too hot, and the deer won't be moving." Then after I did go hunting, I almost talked myself into leaving early. So the bottom line is if you get a chance to go deer hunting, you'd better go. You never know what's going to happen. I have hunted for 40 years and spent thousands of hours in the field, but you just never know when its going to happen. Its kind of like that old saying "A bad day of hunting is still better than a good day at work." Just when I think life can't get any better, God lets something else unbelievable happen to me. Thank you, God. Larry Porter

Last season was to be the LAST season I wasted time and money trying to call deer. I have used all the popular brands and had zero success with any of them. I always buy the most expensive products figuring there is a reason they cost more. Anyway, last season I watched a very nice buck disappearing from sight so I used your grunt to try to stop him. He was moving very quickly and making tons of noise in the dry leaves, so I had little confidence it would work. Again, he was out of sight but I could still hear the leaves crunching. As soon as I grunted he did a 180 and came DIRECTLY to the tree I was in looking for me. I was pretty nervous because I have never had this happen before. I shot him within 5 yards of my stand and this is the largest buck I have taken. A solid 10 pointer, which in the area I hunt has to be at least 4 years old. Since your grunt call worked so well I will try your scent lures this season rather than the other stuff I've paid more for with no results. Thanks for keeping it real,
Writers Outdoor Show, September 2006 I am a Pro Staff member and here is the reason why—Harmon products really work. I just placed a scent wick with Triple Heat on it and thirty minutes later a three and a half year old eight pointer came right to the scent and stuck his nose right to it. Needless to say he is going to be on my wall as he came within twenty yards of my stand as he headed to the scent wick I had placed on the other side of my stand. Great product! W.S. Southerland Hey Guys, Hunting friend suggested Harmon when we
were at the store. Since it was rutting season in Alabama I
thought I’d try it even though I’d never had any success
with doe in heat attractants. We weren’t having much success
hunting food plots and I decided to hunt a road and I put
Harmon’s out in several places. Saw buck chasing a doe
across road and I couldn’t get a shot. Later buck came right
up scent trail to my stand. You know the rest of the story.
That’s why I want some for this season.
Dear Mr. Harmon,
Thanks Mr. Harmon for the best deer scent I ever used. Conan M. from the corner where TN, AL, and GA meet Bill, I just had to drop you
a line and tell you about my experience with one of your
products. I am hunting an area that is thick and knarley, I
found were some bucks are walking trails and making scraps
but there are no trees big enough to hang a stand close by.
I saw your "Triple Heat" Estrus Urine at a local country
store a few weeks ago and I was reading the package. I have
never used a drag rag before but what the heck. I got up the
next morning got my home maid drag rag made from an old bed
sheet and went to a trail close to were I found some scrapes
a few days before. I soaked the rag with "Triple Heat" and
walked about 600 yards to were I had put my stand and
waited. The wind was supposed to blowing from the north but
it shifted to the south, Alabama weather is like that it
never does what the weather guy said the night before.
Anyway there I sit, with a 8 MPH wind blowing in the wrong
direction, so I'm sitting there thinking I would see nothing
from the trail that I walked down, low and behold I glance
over and see a 10 point buck walking up to my drag rag
hanging about 3 feet off the ground, with the wind blowing
across his back he found the "Triple Heat" and followed it
all the way to were I hung the rag. That Buck was bristled
up like a tooth brush and he was looking for a doe. I made
two mistakes that day that cost me a big buck, one was not
knowing the power of your "Triple Heat" lure the other is
not putting a stand facing the sun.
Thank you. Here are a couple
of pics from my 2006 whitetail season. Harmon's Triple Heat
was invaluable in the hunt for these bucks. The first buck
made the Dec. issue of GON magazine. He was a difficult buck
to hunt, but let his guard down after smelling the Triple
Heat. The second buck actually crossed the Oconee River
after getting a nose full of the Harmon's Triple Heat. The
Harmon's Pine and Harmon's Cedar cover scent helped me blend
into the environment and harvest both of these great bucks.

On November 2, 2006, I had some luck and the right scent to tag the biggest buck in my life so far. When he came within 30 yards of my stand and got a whiff of the Triple Heat—wow!—all I saw was neck and nose going crazy. He was a 7 by 6 with about a 7 inch base and 19 inch height and 22 width spread. I can't wait until I get the mount from the taxidermist. The Triple Heat scent helped me and another hunter tag two bucks this past year. I was really impressed. I still can't believe it. We have hunted this area for 3 years with bow and shotgun, and we never knew he was around. Thank you, Hello, Harmon Deer Scents. Wanted to share my great luck using your scents. Shot a 12pt. Pope & Young buck and 5 does. Great lure. Wanting to promote your great products with my hunting associates. Thanks so much, Testimonials have been edited for content.
