FireTacks utilize retro-reflective technology to give you a guaranteed way to get into and out of the woods in low light conditions. FireTacks maintain reflectively in moisture conditions like rain, fog, sleet, or snow - conditions where ordinary trail markers virtually disappear!

"Retro-reflective" means, that FireTacks have the highest visibility when your flashlight is aimed at them at eye level. FireTacks reflect back to the light source. To use FireTacks, place tacks on trees at desired height (any level will work). Because FireTacks are so incredibly bright, you will need fewer tacks per distance. If you hold your flashlight at your side, FireTacks may appear dim or even invisible. When you move your flashlight near your eyes for viewing, FireTacks will "pop" out and be brighter than anything you have ever seen!

To install, grasp tack head and twist tack carefully into tree surface. Jamming the tacks may bend the pin, especially in winter when trees are harder. Place FireTacks on the sides of trees, rather than facing you to allow multi-directional use. FireTacks have 270 degree angularity, which means you can significantly deviate off your trail and marking a blood trail.
